👋 Hello there, I'm Yash Lara.

I'm a User Experience Researcher at Google in Mountain View, California.

Previously, I have worked at the Digital Integrative Liberal Arts Center, where I did research on Responsible AI and Human-Centered Computing. I have also served as the Managing Editor for a journal Catalyst: Feminism, Theory and Technoscience. I have been an active researcher in the Design and Social Interaction Studio at Georgia Tech. I interned at Walmart Global Tech as a Data Scientist in Summer 2020. Before coming to Georgia Tech, I was working in Deloitte as a Front-End Engineer.

My areas of interest span UX, AI and Human-Centered Computing.

In my free time, I love to read and read and read. I am a voracious reader, and my current personal record is finishing 22 books in 30 days.
